Lots of coats of paints have been applied now, still not the final color but less and less drywall corrections now. Final trim is going up around windows and doors and archways.
We noticed both formal rooms (dining and living) get chair rail trim as standard - bonus!
We had our Monday call with Toll today, who amongst other things have now given us our *Formal* closing date...
December 9th 2015!
Our current hotel/storage date lasts until December 10th... so not a huge amount of breathing room.
We were not happy with the fact that most of the downstairs has 8' doors, but the basement (due to being under the main stairs) is only 6' 8", and looks odd in comparison. We were told that we could have a "trim" piece installed to make it up to 8'... glad we asked as they don't tell you this...
Also formal ceiling trim does not extend to the family room - we have found out this is an additional cost - we had asked to have it included but subsequently decided against it - for the same reason it wasn't standard - the family room IS less formal, and if we re-decorate we don't to be tied to matching this particular trim.
Due to weather we're *still* waiting for our exterior trim to be finished - including the stone work on the front, we're also waiting for our path to be put down from driveway to porch.
