Oli like his sisters and like me, struggles to get up in the morning. It's funny when they complain about having to go to bed, when they will then complain about getting out of bed. What happened to the grass being greener! They should leap out of bed, excited to face the new day and all it will bring. I guess the getting undressed to have to get dressed and then brushing teeth and hair is all a bit much at 8am in the morning. One morning, Matt was on the third request to Oli to get out of bed and asked "Are you still sleepy Oli". A groaned reply quietly came from the mountain of quilt that Oli was buried in, "No, I am not tired, my eyes just decided to not be awesome today".
He cracks us up with all of his Oli-isms. I guess he takes after me and my Del-ictionary of my own made up words. At 6 he sees the world in his own way and I hope he doesn't grow out of that anytime soon.
