10 days back in California filled me with dread. I overeat when I am bored and skipping meals won't be as easy as it is at home. However lots of walking, access to a gym and pool and no weighing myself for 10 days can only help me in my journey! I have been consistent in the weightloss so far with pretty much no activity so looking forward to seeing the results when I get back home.
I am still losing! 1 more lbs makes a total of 16 lbs. I feel better and am going to post off my form to claim 2 months free WW Online as I joined when they were doing the "lose 10lbs free" incentive.
I have been bad this week for not adding food to the app. I am going to start some reminders because its awesome when you can go a few days without the support of these tools and still lose weight, but I think if I had been tracking, I might have made a couple of different choices and could have done a bit better! Goal for this coming week - introduce exercise that is a bit more than a little walking. Matt is going to CA for the week, so might see if I can be slightly less jiggly by the time he gets home!
Lost 1.6lb this week. I was a bit disappointed at first, but then I thought about the fact that 1lb is 3,500 calories. So that was a lot of food that I would 'normally' have eaten that I didn't. The first week losing 10lb can set you up for disappointment - it just isn't sustainable as is is mostly water at first!
Ready for this coming week - I have decided that I will be happy with ANY loss.... Actually I will be PROUD of myself and not just happy.
The plan for the weekend, which is when we usually end up eating out, is to keep busy and stay home. I am going to dust off the bikes or walk the kids to the park if it is too hot! This last week I decided to join Weight Watchers. I had followed the program before they changed the points system. I decided I wont attend meetings to am sticking to the online only subscription. I don't like that I am not able to add my weight every day but it prevents enabling compulsive weighing. I can have 30 PointsPlus. It was easy the first few days, I just skipped my evening binge. But then got harder as we started trying to eat two or three meals a day. Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail... It was a busy week, but so far so good. My biggest issue is not eating breakfast, then having lunch at 3pm and then not having dinner with the kids. I then am hungry at 9pm and think "well I only had lunch so I can eat junk now". We were unsuccessful at losing weight before our Disney Cruise in December and that leaves me with very few photographs of me with the family and a memory of wanting to cry getting dressed every morning and evening. We had our 2015 cruise but my promise to myself is that I will be rocking some gorgeous new clothes for our 2016 cruise!
