Becky had black and bleach blonde chunks for a few years and wanted to get it all back to one color. I stripped the back out a lot with clarifying shampoo, but the yellow chunks needed color adding. Her natural color is medium warmth so we used a box of light beige blonde perm color
I applied to the blonde first and then combed through the rest slightly watered down. She washed it off after 4-7 minutes so her hair didn't grab too much of one tone. It was perfect! Natural color and even! Bit of a fluke! 8 months later and her roots didn't show at all! The problem was the color never faded at all. Naturally blonde hair is lighter on the ends and has natural highlights but this was literally permanent.
Too dark and has grown so much! She had a bad cut from fantastic sams 3 months ago that was choppy and uneven. We hoped it would grow out but going to fix it myself!
I love the baleyage look but it is too similar to the ombré I did for Abbie last year so we stuck to the mission of something with more life and naturalish! So foil highlights, and started a bit lower than usual so it would start towards the ombré look and not stripy! Of course you can also see I applied the bleach to the ends first to try adding to the blended look she wanted.
So I had toner ready for any custard tones that may need some violet! But didn't need! A couple of inches off and a proper blow dry with no flat irons and she looks even more beautiful than ever!
