So when builders make promises, generally they always come with a "maybe" - so far so good - they said at the start of the week, roof shingles, windows and stairs.
Most windows are in, the stairs are in (well, apart from basement) and roof shingles are indeed ON.
A pleasant surprise of a few more truck loads of dirt as well to level out the sides and back - still not up to door height but looking loads better. Here are updated round the house shots - again starting with outside:

You might have noticed the back windows on the extension section are not exactly fitting with the rest of the house. Our elevation shown to use at the pre-construction meeting clearly showed matching windows going right across the back of the house. I don't think we would have left it like that if we had known!
