After a short trip to CA, I come home to find walls! Well kind of.
They are actually moulds - into which is poured concrete. Several of the moulds have a "brick" motif - so that once the moulds are removed it looks like brick - handy for exposed parts of the basement in case they are not completely underground.
The concrete is re-inforced with the steel tubing.
I remarked to Adele after the footings had been poured that "this house looks WAY too small, how can we fit the guest room in that tiny space?!"
Now I'm thinking "this is quite big really".
